“Where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am with them.”
Mt 18:20

Many people write, phone or visit the Monastery requesting prayer for their needs and intentions. We gladly lend a listening ear with the assurance of our prayer.

St. Teresa was particularly anxious that we, her daughters be “occupied in prayer” especially for priests and preachers. (Way of Perfection, Ch 1) Each Thursday, our prayer in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament is offered especially for priests. The enrolment in the Sacred Heart Lamp Association ensures a remembrance in the Community’s daily Mass and Divine Office.

In our community our prayer is linked to a number of apostolates which include:
The Apostleship of the Sea – a special daily remembrance is given to those who livelihood depends on the sea.

We are also associated in our prayer with the Aislinn Centre as we pray for young people suffering from addictions.

We bring the hopes, the aspirations, the sorrows and joys of all peoples to our prayer.

“We are pilgrims on a journey,
We are travelers on the road;
We are here to help each other,
Walk the mile and bear the load.

When we sing to God in heaven
We shall find such harmony
Born of all we’ve known together
Of Christ love and agony.
